Historic Medicinal Use
Squaw Vine Herb: Good for menstrual cramps and preparation for childbirth. Relieves pelvic congestion and sooths the nervous system.
Raspberry Leaf: Good for female disorders such as menstrual cramps, morning sickness and hot flashes. Decreases menstrual bleeding, relaxes uterine and intestinal spasms and strengthens the uterine walls.
Cramp Bark: Highly recognized for its success in the treatment of excessive blood loss during menstruation. It is remarkably effective for relaxing the uterine muscles and is a powerful antispasmodic proving very effective in relaxing cramps and spasms of all kinds.
Dong Quai Root: Increases the effectiveness of ovarian hormones. Used in the treatment of female problems such as premenstrual syndrome, vaginal dryness, hot flashes and other menopausal symptoms.

Directions for Use
For a small group of people who are very sensitive, the recommended dosage may be too much to start with. Ease in by starting with a third or half dosage and working your way up to the standard dosage. Strauss herbal formulas are not prescription drugs. Each individual must find their own effective dose for their body type.

Dosage:
Take 10 capsules one day before or on the first day of menstruation cycle. If you have trouble taking all 10 capsules at once, take 5 capsules then 1 hour later take the other 5 capsules. If no improvement is noticed by end of day 1, take an additional 5 capsules on day 2, and repeat with 5 additional capsules on day 3. Capsules can be taken anytime during the day but should be taken on an empty stomach.

Length of Treatment Time
Continue with above instructions until bottle is finished. If problem persists a second bottle may be needed.

Note
With some women the first 10-20 capsules may be all that is needed. Others may need to continue for 4-5 menstrual cycles.
Allow one hour between taking different herbal preparations in capsule form and half an hour between liquid forms. Do not mix teas.

Tips for Easy Use
If you find the capsules too big to swallow, you can break them open into a cup of hot water, stir and drink on an empty stomach. Maple syrup or honey may be used to sweeten the taste. Do Not Use Sugar!

Store in the original package in a dark, dry cupboard.

Breastfeeding Mothers - Strauss Herb Co. does not endorse the use of this product while breastfeeding as the properties of the herbs may be transferred through breast milk to the infant, which can cause colic.

Children- Children are not always able to communicate their symptoms effectively; therefore the Strauss Herb Co. does not endorse the use of this product on children.
